To successfully connect a device (e.g., RemotEye 4) to the Toshiba Monitoring System (TMS) service, certain prerequisites must be fulfilled or verified prior to attempting the connection.

• Have a Toshiba UPS with RemotEye 4 that has firmware version 1.12 or above
• Allow the RemotEye 4 to connect to TMS over port 8883
• RemotEye 4 configured with SMTP relay service
• Know the UPS serial number
• Know the UPS model number (e.g., Typeform)
• Contact information (address, email, phone number) - Note the email will be used for TMS email notifications.
• Have a modern Chrome, Firefox, or Edge web browser
