How to enable texts and email notifications

Enabling texts lets you have notifications from anywhere with cell service. Enabling emails is an alternative for getting notifications indirectly through TMS instead of the device directly.

 

Enabling texts:

1) Go to Asset Management > Devices

2) Select the device you want to have notifications from.

3) Scroll down to the notifications settings section

4) Enable texts by clicking on "Receive SMS Notifications", setting it to true, and click save

5) Click on "Notification Phone Numbers", enter the phone number you want to receive notifications on and click save. To set more then one number, separate the numbers with a comma. Example: xxxxxxxxxx,yyyyyyyyyy,zzzzzzzzzz

 

Enabling emails:

1) Same steps as texts except this time set "Receive Email Notifications" to true.

2) The emails will be sent to the contact email in the contact section.

3) This email can be changed by going to the RemotEye 4's "Remote Monitoring Service Settings" under settings and changing the email.
