How to Identify trays on 125VDC ESS?

Since the 125VDC SCiB energy storage system is an independent system. All the battery banks (trays) will have a dip switch number of 1. We recommend following the steps below to distinguish between the different battery banks (trays)

  1. Disconnect all the ethernet cables that are connected to the RemotEye ESS network port
  2. Connect the ethernet cable to the RemotEye ESS one at a time and set the IP to something that can distinguish that battery bank (tray)
  3. You can use the Tupgrade Tool to set the IPs (see the image below)
  4. Once you have gone through all the battery banks (trays) and set the IPs. Login to the web app for each RemotEye ESS and set the system name to identify the battery banks more clearly.
    note:
To access settings from dashboard. Click gear icon in the top right -> General -> System Name
